Stephen Lockard is a senior associate in WSHB’s Orange County office, where his practice focuses primarily on complex civil litigation, including professional liability issues, employment, construction and habitability matters. He also is skilled at navigating complex coverage issues.

Stephen is a graduate of Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. As a law student, Stephen interned with both the Fulton County Metro Conflict Defender’s Office and Rehabilitation Enables Dreams, a non-profit aimed at reducing recidivism for first-time non-violent youthful offenders. He also dedicated a year with the Fulton County Landlord-Tenant Mediation Program, where he worked as a mediator overseeing and negotiating property disputes between residential landlords and tenants. Upon graduation, Stephen worked for a plaintiff’s firm handling personal injury, property, employment, and general liability claims. He brings to his defense practice sage practice pointers gleaned from this experience, including creative strategies to resolve extremely complex issues.

In his free time, Stephen enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, maintaining personal fitness, attending music and sporting events, and volunteering with organizations that assist at-risk youths in their personal development.
