Overview

Sarah Weber is senior counsel in WSHB’s Boca Raton office, where her practice focuses on first-party property. She also enjoys a thriving labor and employment litigation practice. She manages all aspects of litigation and has defended thousands of claims. Sarah’s attended over 500 mediations/arbitrations and has tried cases to verdict. In her practice with the firm, she also assists insurers in pre-suit investigations and coverage evaluations, including conducting examinations under oath and SIU investigations.

Sarah earned her law degree from Hofstra University School of Law. While at Hofstra, Sarah was awarded the Child Advocacy Fellowship and received Hofstra’s Award of Excellence in International Law. She also interned at the Suffolk County, New York District Attorney’s Office and represented asylum applicants in front of the Board of Immigration Appeals in Manhattan while at the Hofstra Political Asylum Clinic.

She began her legal career at the Office of the Public Defender, Broward County. Following her experience at the Public Defender’s Office, Sarah spent more than a decade focusing her practice in labor and employment and insurance litigation. Before joining WSHB, she was a partner at a boutique litigation firm in Boca Raton where she handled first and third party property litigation, as well as serving as a lead attorney in civil rights and employment discrimination cases.
