Overview
Owen Sandstrom is a senior associate attorney in WSHB's Riverside office. He is experienced in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including employment, construction, and business litigation.
Owen graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. Upon admission to law school, he was awarded a coveted full-tuition scholarship as an O’Connor Honors Scholar. During law school, he received the CALI Award for Legal Method and Writing and was published in a law journal. Owen also served as Associate Editor and Senior Articles Editor on the Arizona State Sports & Entertainment Law Journal.
While attending law school, Owen externed at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. He later externed at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, assisting in criminal prosecutions. Most recently, he externed at the Tempe City Attorney’s Office, where he helped defend the City in legal disputes.
Owen was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii, where he became an Eagle Scout and graduated from Waiakea High School summa cum laude. He earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, graduating summa cum laude. When not practicing law, Owen enjoys traveling, photography, and swimming.
