Overview

Orchid Farinpour is senior counsel in WSHB’s Glendale office, where her wide-ranging civil litigation practice focuses on complex high-exposure cases, including matters involving wrongful death, catastrophic injury, business, employment, products liability and general liability matters.

In her practice, Orchid regularly defends Fortune 500 companies and has several well-known clients in the club, bar and restaurant industry. She guides her clients through litigation and employment-related matters, including the drafting of employee handbooks and the implementation of employment policies and procedures. Orchid also has experience conducting internal and external employment investigations for her clients, working closely with them to avoid litigation when possible.

Prior to joining WSHB, Orchid worked for a well-known national law firm on its Restaurant, Retail and Hospitality practice group where she was the go-to counsel for several high-profile Fortune 500 companies including retail stores, malls, restaurants, hotels, nightclubs and security companies. Her litigation background also includes handling premises liability, professional liability, health care litigation, and construction defect matters.

Orchid attended the Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she was a Senior Editor of the Thomas Jefferson Law Review and a member of the Moot Court team. While attending law school, she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Ronald J. Domnitz and as a law clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California. As an attorney, she has also received training from the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) Jack Daniels Trial School.
