Overview
Nicholas Loveland is an associate attorney in WSHB’s Connecticut office, where he serves as a member of the firm’s Cybersecurity & Data Privacy team. In this role, he responds to data breach incidents and defends clients in state/federal privacy enforcement actions, complex data breach class actions, and technology E&O litigation. Nicholas also enjoys vast civil litigation experience, which includes defending general liability and subrogation claims, appellate advocacy, and employment law matters.
He earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Connecticut School of Law. While in law school, Nicholas served as the Information Technology Director of the Connecticut Journal of International Law. He was also an active member of the UConn Mock Trial Society, Intensive Trial Advocacy Team, and Criminal Defense Trial Clinic. Nicholas received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Connecticut. As an undergrad, he served as Vice President of the UConn Law Society and participated in the UConn Club Tennis and Racquetball teams.
