Overview
Liam Hoyt is a senior associate in WSHB's Phoenix office specializing in complex civil litigation. He enjoys experience in a broad range of practice areas which has included representing major auto carriers in subrogation lawsuits, providing legal counsel to Homeowner and Community Property Associations, and defending doctors, nurses, and hospitals in medical malpractice lawsuits.
Liam is a magna cum laude graduate of Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California. While in law school, he served as the President of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society and as an Editor of the Thomas Jefferson Law Review. He made the school’s Honor Roll and/or Distinguished Honor Roll every semester of law school, and received CALI awards for Property I, Property II, and Negotiating Sports Contracts. During the summers, he served as a legal extern at the Utah Valley University Athletic Department researching new NCAA athletic legislation in addition to interning with a firm in San Diego that gained him experience in business and real estate litigation. Liam earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science with a minor in Spanish at the University of Utah.
In his free time, Liam enjoys spending time with family and watching the Utah Jazz and Utah Utes.
