Overview
Khelya Okunor is an associate in WSHB’s Riverside office focusing her practice on complex civil litigation, including employment law, catastrophic injuries, and business tort claims. Khelya is a trial-tested attorney experienced in representing individuals and businesses through all phases of litigation.
A California Western School of Law graduate, she was the Moot Court Honors Board CEO and graduated as a distinguished advocate with an emphasis on Alternate Dispute Resolution. While attending law school, Khelya clerked for the Honorable Judge Randa Trapp (Ret.) and worked as a post-bar intern with the San Diego Superior Court’s Office of General Counsel. Her previous experience includes serving as a published Rulings Briefer for the Daily Journal Corporation with a focus on statutory interpretation, business law, and employment law; handling criminal defense trials and appeals; and working as a business consultant for start-up and mid-sized businesses nationwide.
Khelya is fluent in Twi and Fanti and speaks conversational Spanish.
