Joseph Hopkins is a senior associate in WSHB’s New Jersey office, where his practice focuses on professional liability, complex tort and casualty, construction defect, subrogation, and civil litigation. Joseph has successfully handled a wide variety of civil matters from inception to resolution, achieving numerous favorable results.
Before joining WSHB, Joseph was an associate at a prominent law firm in Essex County. He also served as the judicial law clerk for the Honorable John I. Gizzo, J.S.C. Joseph attended Seton Hall University School of Law, graduating in 2015. While in law school, he gained exposure to a variety of practice areas through diverse internships with the City of Hoboken, Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, the Honorable Garry J. Furnari, J.S.C. (New Jersey Superior Court – Essex Vicinage), and the Honorable Dennis M. Cavanaugh (Ret.) (U.S. District Court of New Jersey). Joseph was also the recipient of the Riccio Scholarship and the Public Interest Law Fellowship Grant.
