Bret Morace is an associate in WSHB’s Boca Raton office. His practice focuses on insurance coverage and first-party defense. Bret began his legal career at the Palm Beach County Public Defender’s Office. There he defended indigent clients facing charges in county court, delinquency court, and circuit court. He also advocated for his clients in pretrial motions and trials. Bret brings this courtroom experience to every matter he handles.
Bret is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, where he served on staff of the Texas International Law Journal and graduated with honors. While in law school, Bret was a law clerk at a civil litigation firm whose practice ranged from breach of contract disputes to patent infringement. Additionally, Bret interned at the Capital Area Private Defender Service. Bret primarily worked with the organization’s Forensic Project which reviewed cases for potential post-conviction litigation due to the use of faulty forensic science.
Bret attended Texas A&M University for his undergraduate degree and majored in Political Science. He was a member of the university’s Corps of Cadets.
