John Freeman is senior counsel in WSHB's Glendale office. He has more than 20 years of experience in civil litigation defense and medical malpractice. He is committed to defending and working with health care professionals. His strengths are working with expert witnesses, communicating, and fostering relationships. John is passionate about working the facts to get to the truth and defending our clients to reach the most favorable outcome.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, John received his undergraduate degree in Economics at the University of California, Los Angeles. He earned his Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law.

Outside of the practice of law, John participates in events at the Hollywood Judo Dojo, a non-profit institution that teaches students martial arts. His father was the Master of the Dojo at the Hollywood Judo Dojo, and John took many Judo lessons growing up that he believes continue to help him tackle challenging cases in litigation. Studying martial arts allows one to learn the art of conflict and strategy, which translates well into problem-solving in high-conflict environments in the arena of law. Judo also accentuates the importance of internal growth and positively impacting society, a philosophy John has carried into his career to resolve conflict for individuals in strenuous legal battles.
