Overview
Hasmik Vardanyan is a senior associate in WSHB’s White Plains office. She focuses her practice on employment practices liability claims, construction accidents, and catastrophic injuries.
She graduated cum laude from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. While there, she served as an article editor for the Pace International Law Review. Hasmik also participated in international moot court competitions and served as a brief writer. Throughout law school, she took part in the Honors Prosecution Externship, appearing in court on arraignments and various adversarial hearings in Westchester County District Attorney’s Office.
Competitively selected to participate in the Pro Bono Scholar Program, Hasmik provided pro bono legal services at the Empire Justice Center, where she filed motions and special immigration asylum applications with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
Before joining WSHB, Hasmik worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office. As a prosecutor, she handled violent and nonviolent misdemeanors and felony cases from inception to disposition, which involved Grand Jury presentations, motion practice, and preparing witnesses and expert witnesses for hearings and trial.
