Overview
Elsie Secoquian is a senior associate attorney in WSHB's Orange County, California, office, where she focuses on handling complex civil litigation. Ms. Secoquian is an experienced litigator who represents clients in business litigation, construction defect, professional liability, and employment litigation. She has regularly appeared on behalf of and successfully defended her clients at trial, arbitration, and other dispute resolution forums. Previously, Ms. Secoquian was a trial attorney and in-house counsel for several insurers, defending personal injury and premises liability claims.
She earned her B.A. in Criminology, Law & Society, with a minor in Psychology & Social Behavior, from the University of California, Irvine. She received her J.D. from California Western School of Law.
Ms. Secoquian serves on the Orange County Korean American Bar Association's board of directors. She is a founding member of the Filipino-American Lawyers of Orange County and has served on the board from 2016 to 2021 and as president from 2021 to 2022. Additionally, she has been a board member of California Western School of Law, Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego, and Filipino American Lawyers of San Diego. She is a lifetime member of the Philippine American Bar Association and member of the National Filipino American Lawyers Association. Outside of her professional commitments, Ms. Secoquian enjoys traveling and cooking.
