A partner in WSHB’s Los Angeles office, David Carman is recognized for over 35 years of exceptional advocacy on behalf of businesses and individuals in complex civil litigation. Known for his strategic insight and unwavering commitment to client success, he has served as lead counsel in high-stakes matters ranging from business ownership disputes and contract disagreements to fraud, unfair competition, employment law, intellectual property, defamation, legal malpractice, and antitrust cases.
David has extensive first-chair trial experience in both state and federal courts. He is also highly skilled in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration, and has represented clients before administrative agencies and appellate courts.
Throughout his formidable career, David has litigated cases in both state and federal courts in California, as well as federal courts in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
He has represented high-profile clients and matters that have garnered media attention. He has litigated alongside and against some of the largest law firms in the world.
