Daniel Spruill is a senior associate at WSHB’s New York office, where he defends complex commercial litigation, New York Labor Law, and catastrophic injury actions. He is experienced in all aspects of litigation, from motions and discovery to depositions, hearings, and trials.
Daniel is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he edited the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal and was a member of the Connecticut Moot Court Board. During law school, Daniel also served as a student attorney in both the trial and appellate levels of the UConn Law Criminal Defense Clinic. Daniel earned his bachelor’s degree in political science, with a minor in French, from Georgia Southern University.
Prior to joining the firm, Daniel served as Executive Agency Counsel at the City of New York Business Integrity Commission. In this position, he directed investigations into organized crime and oversaw the regulatory enforcement of the private trade waste industry. Previously, and immediately following law school, Daniel worked as an Assistant District Attorney at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, prosecuting hundreds of misdemeanor and felony cases and conducted trials through verdict.
