Overview
Courtney Moore is an associate in WSHB’s Northern California office with a focus on complex tort litigation and construction matters. Ms. Moore graduated from Western State College of Law with her Juris Doctor. While in law school, she concentrated on taxation, contract negotiation, and business associations. She continued to work full-time as a paralegal and legal assistant throughout her stay in law school. She was active in Western State’s Black Law Student Association and also volunteered with the Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles. After graduating, Ms. Moore worked at a national law firm assisting in government, land use, environment, and energy matters with a special emphasis on California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) cases.
As an undergraduate, Ms. Moore attended California State University, Fresno where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology while participating as a Division-I Student Athlete. When not practicing law, Ms. Moore enjoys mentoring aspiring college athletes, fitness activities, and international cooking.
