Overview
Chad Capers is an associate attorney in WSHB's Atlanta office. In his practice with the firm, he handles insurance coverage and complex civil litigation.
Born in Columbus, Georgia, and raised in Warner Robins, Georgia, Chad attended Valdosta State University where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business. He earned his Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law. While attending Mercer Law, Chad served as the President of Mercer's Black Law Student Association, Southern Regional Chair of the National Black Law Students Association, and President of the Mercer Advocacy Council. He was named a Regional Champion of the National Moot Court Competition and inducted into both Phi Delta Phi and the Order of Barristers. Additionally, Chad is a proud recipient of the Walker P. Johnson, Jr. Memorial Award, which is given for litigation skills excellence, professionalism, and ethics.
Chad's previous experience includes an internship with the Georgia Court of Appeals. When Chad is not actively defending firm clients, you might catch him enjoying a live concert or traveling the world.
