Overview
Caylee D. Scott is an associate attorney at WSHB's Los Angeles office, handling professional liability and complex civil litigation.
Before joining the firm, Caylee served as a judicial extern for a family court judge in Santa Clara County. She later worked in the litigation department of a well-respected wills and trusts firm in the Bay Area, where she gained hands-on experience drafting motions, managing discovery, and supporting attorneys in complex, fast-moving matters.
Caylee earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she was the Managing Editor of the Santa Clara Law Review. Her commitment to impactful writing earned her the Herman and Edith Social Justice Law Wildman Writing Award for outstanding legal scholarship in the field of social justice.
She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts from the University of Arizona and a Master of Philosophy in Film Theory, History, and Practice from Trinity College Dublin. Prior to entering the legal profession, she worked as a television news producer. Her media background informs her strong analytical skills and her interest in narrative structure, problem-solving, and communication.
Beyond her academic and professional accomplishments, Caylee is an avid filmgoer and keeps up with contemporary television. She enjoys exploring new places, both locally and abroad, and is looking forward to experiencing everything Los Angeles has to offer.
