Overview

Senior counsel Americo Cisneros is a familiar face in the courtrooms of the greater Rio Grande Valley handling complex civil litigation throughout South Texas. Growing up and living in the thriving border metropolis of McAllen, and attending his undergraduate and law degree in San Antonio, Americo brings a thorough understanding of the nuance of litigation in Southern Texas that only a native can claim. He embodies all the qualities of a hometown, homegrown lawyer, and his experience is regularly drawn upon by clients around the nation for his intimate familiarity with all aspects of litigating in the Lone Star State.

Bilingual and trial-tested, Americo enjoys securing strong results in matters involving transportation, catastrophic injury, and commercial disputes. He also is well-regarded for his handling of complex construction, medical malpractice and healthcare matters.

Americo earned his undergraduate degree from St. Mary’s University and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s University School of Law. He is an active member of the Cameron County Bar Association, Hidalgo County Bar Association, and the Texas Young Lawyer’s Association.

He brings to his matters a unique perspective gained as a civil and family law mediator, qualified as an Impartial Third Party under Texas Civil Practice & Remedies Code § 154.052.
