Overview

Alyse is a senior associate in WSHB’s Dallas office. She handles the defense of employment practices and professional liability matters, as well as catastrophic injury, property damage, and construction defect. In her practice, she works closely with clients in investigating and defending claims under Title VII, the Deceptive Trade Practices Act, and an assorted array of federal and state laws and regulations.

She graduated cum laude from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. During law school, Alyse served as a Lead Articles Editor for the SMU Law Review and was an advocate for the Labor & Employment Mock Trial Competition. Alyse was also Chief Counsel for the SMU Child Advocacy Clinic, where she represented children in the Texas CPS and foster care system. Additionally, she was named a State Bar of Texas Pro Bono College Member for her pro bono work for the Dallas County Public Defender's Office.

Alyse graduated magna cum laude from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Psychology. While there, she received Departmental Honors for her thesis on the Juvenile Justice System.
