National law firm is seeking an Office Services Clerk for its Los Angeles (Westwood) office.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Assist with document management, file organization, and e-filing documents
  • Assist with trial preparation (putting together trial binders, etc.)
  • Scanning and copying documents
  • Mail processing: sort and deliver incoming mail; collect, sort and process outgoing mail
  • Process incoming and outgoing FedEx & UPS packages for delivery; track packages as required
  • Replenish copy paper and office supplies throughout the office
  • Assist attorneys and staff with daily administrative tasks
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in a law firm or legal environment is required
  • Excellent and professional level customer service on a daily basis
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Goal oriented team player
  • Ability to move/lift 25 pounds on a regular basis
  • Able to work short notice overtime
  • PC literate; proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be a self-starter who is well organized and can handle multiple tasks with the ability to prioritize work
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as a computer, photocopier, postage machine, and scanner
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to work 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday – Friday and must be comfortable coming onsite every day

Education

  • High school graduate or equivalent
