West Coast Casualty's Construction Defect Seminar, the largest seminar of its kind worldwide, will take place May 15-17, 2013, at the Disneyland Hotel and Resort in Anaheim, California. Wood, Smith, Henning & Berman Partner Domingo Tan has been selected to be a speaker at this year's seminar.
Along with retired judge/mediator Judge Jonathan Cannon of JAMS and attorney Ryan Baldino of Hammons & Baldino, Domingo will be conducting a presentation related to the ability of an unlicensed builder/general contractor to enforce its contractual indemnity rights against subcontractors (Ranchwood v. UDC). The panel will also be addressing the calculation and collection of damages pursuant to the seminal case of Crawford v. Weather Shield.
