With over 40 years of experience, Greg Amundson is a seasoned trial veteran with over one hundred trials to verdict. He is recognized as a Masters by ABOTA for the number of hours and trials he has successfully handled. He is nationally recognized as one of the preeminent trial lawyers relied upon by clients to handle complex litigation in a variety of practice areas.

Greg is a versatile trial lawyer and enjoys experience handling a range of complex litigation with renowned success. He is a key member of WSHB’s eleventh hour trial team, which is regularly employed by clients throughout the nation to try catastrophic and complex cases on a moments notice. Greg’s string of successful verdicts range from extremely high profile catastrophic injury matters, which have garnered national media attention for both public and private entities. He has been on the cutting edge of toxic tort, environmental and occupational exposure matters involving claims of serious injuries from chemical exposure, Valley Fever and more. In the arena of transportation related risks, Greg has represented major transportation clients including public entities. Diving to the heart of the case and understanding strategic tools for case resolution, Greg enjoys trials for those matters which require the jury to make the final decision. In this regard, he is encyclopedic on trial processes, jury selection, appellate issues as well as having a firm grasp on the subject matter.   • Greg has developed numerous public entities throughout the state of California, including cities and  counties.
  • Defense verdict in occupational exposure/personal injury matter where the demands exceeded $6 million.
  • Defense verdict for county named in road design matter by motorcyclist over road design and maintenance which allegedly resulted in catastrophic injuries. Demand exceeded $10 million
  • Defense verdict for one of the largest counties in California involving public entity and alleged brain injury. Demand exceeded $15 million.
  • Successful resolution of asbestos case for governmental agency prior to jury returning verdict. Case resolved for fraction of amount black boarded by plaintiff counsel.
  • Defense verdict on asbestos case in nuclear power plant. Greg was retained two weeks prior to trial in a case where the demand exceeded $10 million.
  • Summary Judgment for city based on design immunities in matter involving road design allegation which allegedly resulted in catastrophic injury. Demand exceeded $20 million.
  • Greg understands the nuance of appellate work and effectively established a record if needed during trial.
