Nived Rajendran is an associate in WSHB’s Miami office. His practice includes complex civil litigation, subrogation, and general liability matters.
Mr. Rajendran is a South Florida native. He received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Florida Atlantic University. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law, where he served as an executive editor for the Florida State University Law Review and staff editor for the Journal of Transnational Law & Policy. Mr. Rajendran also worked cases as a certified legal intern for FSU’s award winning Public Interest Law Center, where he had the opportunity to represent indigent children in administrative matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Rajendran worked as a legal associate for the Cato Institute’s Center for Constitutional Studies in Washington, DC where he gained invaluable experience drafting and filing amicus briefs with the US Supreme Court. During his summers away from law school, Mr. Rajendran gained experience in complex appellate litigation while clerking for the Institute for Justice and the Pacific Legal Foundation, two nationally recognized public interest law firms. Nived brings extensive knowledge of government law and administrative procedure, having also previously clerked for the Florida Department of Environmental Protections’ Office of General Counsel.
