Overview

Michael Roos is senior counsel in WSHB's Dallas office. He focuses his practice on the defense of wrongful death, catastrophic loss and other personal injury-related claims. Michael actively defends national and regional trucking companies, property owners and other commercial enterprises against a variety of claims in courts across Texas, including but not limited to Harris County (Houston), Bexar County (San Antonio) and Tarrant County (Forth Worth). Michael is experienced in all phases of civil litigation and is particularly adept at working with bio- and mechanical engineering, medical billing and medical treatment experts. Michael brings a detail-oriented and nuanced approach to his defense of clients, ensuring they understand the liability issues they face and are well prepared for the challenges they will face in litigation, whether through careful preparation with clients for depositions and trial testimony or through conducting thoughtful onsite inspections.

Prior to joining WSHB, Michael was a 'go-to' attorney at a personal injury firm handling a variety of injury matters. This experience informs his understanding and skill set as a contributing member of our Dallas office. Michael is a graduate of Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law, where he worked for three semesters as a student attorney in the school’s Consumer Advocacy Clinic. Michael received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, in History from Austin College. As an undergraduate, Michael was a member of the Posey Leadership Institute and the school’s hockey team.
