Kime Smith is a senior associate in the Northern California office of WSHB. An experienced litigator with a diverse practice, Kime defends property owners, contractors, and developers in complex construction matters. He also provides client representation in general business litigation, assisting with contract drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution. Kime’s experience also includes claim management of toxic tort and other personal injury matters as well as trial experience in Solano County. He has a strong record of obtaining early dismissals for clients through motion practice and efficient management of litigation from inception through resolution.
Kime graduated from Syracuse University College of Law where he was on the Dean’s List and completed the Technology Transfer Certificate Program in which he co-authored a paper on a university developed noise reduction algorithm. During his time at Syracuse, Kime also wrote a paper on the emerging use of electronic evidence in litigation, and presented a paper on the Semiconductor Chip Protection Act (17 U.S.C. §§ 901-914). Before graduating, he was selected to participate in a summer program at the prestigious Tsinghua University in Beijing, China where he studied international law.
