Ellsie is an associate at WSHB’s Las Vegas office, where she handles a variety of civil litigation matters. Ellsie is a graduate of the William S. Boyd School of Law. While in law school, she was executive editor of the Nevada Law Journal, a member of the Society of Advocates Moot Court Team, and served as President of La Voz, the Hispanic/ Latino Law Student Association. In addition, Ellsie served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Cam Ferenbach in the United States District Court for the District of Nevada and to the Honorable Ronald J. Israel in the Eighth Judicial District Court. Upon graduation, Ellsie received the Dean’s Award, which recognizes individual contributions or accomplishments of note to the law school community.
Prior to joining the firm, Ellsie was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Ronald J. Israel in the Eighth Judicial District Court. During the judicial clerkship, Ellsie worked on a variety of civil and criminal matters. Currently, Ellsie serves on the board of the Las Vegas Latino Bar Association and is a Deputy President for Region XIV of the Hispanic National Bar Association. She is also fluent in Spanish.
