Andrei Dumitrescu is a senior associate in WSHB’s San Diego office. He is experienced in a host of civil litigation matters, including commercial and business disputes, and property law. Andrei adeptly handles all phases of litigation, from inception through discovery, law and motion practice, mediation, and trial.
Andrei is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he received a full tuition merit scholarship and graduated magna cum laude. While in law school, Andrei served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Andrew G. Schopler, Magistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. He also served as President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society, Chief Articles Editor of the Law Review, and Vice-Chair of the Moot Court Honor Society. His many accolades include being a national semi-finalist in the ABA Negotiation Competition, finalist in the CA Environmental Law Negotiation Competition, and semi-finalist in the INADR International Mediation Tournament. In Moot Court, he was a two-time overall winner and best oralist in the school’s in-house competition, and received an oralist award at the Jessup International Moot Court Competition.
He is fluent in both Romanian and French. Andrei is trained in classical piano through the Royal Conservatory of Music, and in his free time enjoys making music with his band.
