Overview

Alexis Campisi is an associate in WSHB’s Tampa office, where her practice focuses on insurance coverage. Born and raised in Trinity, Florida, Ms. Campisi graduated from Stetson University College of Law with her Juris Doctor in 2019. While in law school, she concentrated on issues in elder law, including nursing home abuse; problems arising from incapacity; and complex estate, tax and business succession planning. While in school, she served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Amy Williams in the Sixth Judicial Circuit. She also advocated for mental health awareness and self-care practices on campus as the American Bar Association Law Student Division’s Mental Health Chair. After graduating, Ms. Campisi worked at a well-known civil and business litigation firm assisting in counseling small and medium-sized businesses on employment, liability, and business organization, among other issues.

Before attending law school, Ms. Campisi attended the University of South Florida where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Bachelor of Arts in English Literary Studies.

In her free time, Ms. Campisi enjoys spending time with her daughter, fitness, outdoor activities, and traveling.
