Aaron Ladds is an associate in the New York office of WSHB, where he handles a variety of civil litigation matters, including product liability, New York Labor Law, transportation and catastrophic injury issues. In addition, he is regularly called upon to handle all facets of professional liability, transportation, employment and toxic tort litigation. Aaron is a graduate of New York Law School, where he served as the elected vice president of the Student Bar Association and as a research fellow in the Center for Business & Financial Law. During his tenure in law school, he honed his legal skills by working as a judicial intern for the Honorable Anthony Cannataro, a legal and compliance intern for an investment firm, and an extern in FINRA’s Enforcement Division.
He received his undergraduate degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a minor in Public Leadership from the University of Maryland. During his college career, Aaron was on the Dean’s List for all semesters, interned at the Maryland Attorney General’s Office, served on the University of Maryland’s Judicial Board, and was elected president of the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity. For two consecutive years, Aaron spent his Yom Kippur volunteering in a federal prison leading Jewish prisoners in services. After college, Aaron taught English in Israel.
Beginning in law school, Aaron has served as a member of the Professional Responsibility Committee of the New York City Bar Association and UJA’s Young Lawyers Committee. He now serves as a formal mentor to several New York Law School students. Aaron is fluent in Hebrew and conversational in Arabic. In his free time, Aaron enjoys playing basketball in Central Park, learning how to play the harmonica, and traveling.
