Our Environmental Practice group is committed to providing creative and cost effective solutions to our clients' varied environmental problems. Our goal is to effectuate earlier resolution and favorable settlement of cases, or, if the client's interests dictate, to aggresively and efficiently litigate through mediation or trial.

The lawyers in this group employ creative and aggressive defense strategies in all facets of soil and groundwater contamination and hazardous waste cases. In state and federal courts as well as in numerous dealings with the EPA and other governmental agencies, we have the experience and contacts to make a difference; and our litigation experience in Environmental Law often puts us at an advantage when dealing with allocation issues involving multi-party defense groups. The firm has been involved in many Superfund matters, including most of the larger ones in Southern California over the past 15 years. We have handled a wide variety of property contamination cases including landfills and recycling sites. We also handle environmental compliance and disciplinary matters as well as transactional aspects of environmental law.
