Must have experience taking depositions of fact witnesses and experts, and in the preparation of trial documents (exhibit lists, witness lists, motions in limine, jury instructions, verdict forms, trial briefs, etc.). Paralegal

Fresno Office

WSHB has an immediate opening for a skilled and experienced paralegal in civil litigation and construction defect. Candidate must have excellent writing and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to be a team player. Candidate must also have a good understanding of the litigation and discovery process, familiarity with construction and insurance terminology and methods, and experience in reviewing, organizing, and evaluating large volumes of construction documents and medical records. The position also requires experience in preparing and tracking subpoenas for records and preparing detailed analytical document summaries, chronologies, and timelines. Trial preparation experience is a significant plus. Position requires a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved or equivalent program, and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
