Highest and Lowest Verdicts: Do You Know?

February 27, 2017

WSHB’s Jade Tran to discuss jury verdict trends in interactive Combined Claims Conference session

Current trends in jury verdicts is the focus of an interactive session with Jade Tran, partner at WSHB at the Combined Claims Conference at the Hyatt Regency in Orange County, CA on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. The program, “The Top 10 Highest and Lowest Verdicts for 2015 and 2016,” will explore the areas of auto/general liability, SIU/general liability and property litigation.

“During the session the fact patterns for each of the cases will be revealed, but not the verdicts,” said Tran. “Then we will ask the audience to guess the amounts of the verdicts. After that we will present the actual outcomes and discuss how the jury rationale might have affected the outcome. The goal is to be able to pinpoint how verdict trends are affected by differing fact patterns, venues and trial counsel.”

Tran has focused her 15 years of litigation practice on toxic tort, asbestos, products liability, premises liability and catastrophic injury matters. She has experience representing a wide array of clients from individuals to multi-national corporations in business disputes and personal injury/wrongful death actions. Her practice also includes habitability, elder abuse, and environmental litigation.
