Construction has evolved markedly in the last five years due to the advent and extensive use of technology in the design and build process. To this end, WSHB’s Stewart Reid will be presenting with a panel of national experts on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at The Ritz Carlton Fort Lauderdale, FL. Stewart will be leading a distinguished panel discussing strategically employing technology in construction defect litigation. Conference attendees will hear the panel discuss tools being used to investigate and estimate damages as well as tools and applications being used to present evidence to juries or at mediations.

Stewart, who is WSHB's firmwide managing partner, is uniquely qualified to share his construction litigation expertise. As a litigator, he has represented some of the nation's largest home builders in all facets of disputes including payment disputes, recovery actions, construction defect, mechanic’s lien, stop notice, delay and acceleration claims, bid protests, and debarment proceedings. Stewart grew up working heavy construction projects, and later as a licensed general contractor he built single-family homes.
