Defense of manufacturers, distributors, and retailers of industrial and automotive products against claims of wrongful death and catastrophic injuries, including burns, brain damage, severed extremities, and disfigurement, allegedly due to defects in the manufacture and design of products and their components.

Defense of businesses and individuals in a wide variety of claims regarding negligent and intentional acts, including automobile accidents, assault and battery and construction site accidents resulting in catastrophic injuries and death. Defense of property owners and contractors against suits arising from catastrophic injury accidents on commercial sites.
Defense of business establishments against injury claims involving third parties.

Representation of businesses and individuals in various contractual disputes, both for plaintiffs and defendants. Negotiation of contracts, and consultation to businesses related to litigation avoidance.

Mr. Guerrero's practice focuses on products liability tort defense, premises liability, and general business litigation. He represents a diverse client base including corporations, private individuals and insurance companies, with special emphasis on significant injury cases. Mr. Guerrero is dedicated to providing all clients with the highest level of legal counseling and representation, utilizing innovative and creative strategies designed to achieve the best possible results. He has extensive experience in all aspects of the litigation process, including depositions, mediation, arbitration and trial.
Mr. Guerrero graduated from the University of Southern California School of Law, where he was a recipient of a Legion Lex Scholarship, and also a participant in the Hale Moot Court Honors program. His Moot Court advisor was nationally recognized constitutional law scholar, Erwin Chemerinsky. While in law school, Mr. Guerrero also worked on a special research project with professor and political commentator Susan Estrich analyzing the 1999 California gubernatorial election results for Gray Davis, and interned with the California Attorney General's Office.
He is a member of both the California and Nevada State Bars. Mr. Guerrero is also admitted to all the U.S. District Courts located in California, including the Central, Southern , Northern and Eastern Districts.
In his spare time, Mr. Guerrero enjoys participating in outdoor activities such as camping, fishing and hiking. |
