Matt was admitted to the California Bar in 2009 after graduating from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. During law school, Matt dedicated over 20 credit hours to the study of Environmental and Natural Resource law. Matt's studies made him familiar with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the 2002 Brownfields Act, and the Carpenter-Presley-Tanner Hazardous Substance Account Act. Matt's experience helps him understand the difficulty in complying with environmental statutes while still running a business efficiently and effectively. Prior to law school, Matt attended Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. While at Trinity, Matt majored in History, Economics and Communication and was also a member of Trinity's track and field team. |
