Mr. Ippoliti earned his Juris Doctor from the California Western School of Law in 1997. While in law school, Mr. Ippoliti worked as a summer law clerk with the Office of the Public Defender in San Diego, as a law clerk with a sole practitioner whose practice focused on family law, worker’s compensation, and personal injury, and as a law clerk for a mid‑size firm specializing in appellate work. He was awarded the Pro Bono Services Award from the California Bar Association and a Pro Bono Services Scholarship from the California Western School of Law in 1995 for his clerkship with the Office of the Public Defender. Prior to law school, he earned a Bachelor of Sciences in Psychology with a minor in English Literature from the University of Illinois at Urbana‑Champaign.
Mr. Ippoliti was recently responsible for defending a complex legal malpractice action with an underlying allegation of theft of trade secrets. Mr. Ippoliti drafted all of the pre-trial motions, deposed the plaintiff and key witnesses, retained the attorney expert, managed over 40,000 pages of documents, and participated in all of the court hearings and the mediation. As a result of a successful motion to disqualify Mr. Ippoliti filed, the matter settled before trial. |
