Amy currently practices in a variety of areas including construction law, tort defense, and general liability. Prior to joining Wood Smith Henning & Berman, Amy prosecuted the claims of property owners and management companies arising out of tenant lease violations. While in law school, Amy was selected to participate in the Poehl's (Hobb's) Trial Advocacy Program and was a member of the Dean's List. She also externed for the Los Angeles County Superior Court, the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office - Consumer Protection Unit, and the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office. Additionally, Amy worked at the Cancer Legal Resource Center, which provides information and educational outreach on cancer-related legal issues to people with cancer and their families who are impacted by this disease. Before attending law school, Amy worked in the Legal Compliance and Ethics Department of a Fortune 500 company. |
