Experience:	Construction Defense of developers and general contractors in complex multi-party litigation claims arising from defective design and construction of residential and commercial properties. Prosecution and defense of claims for indemnification and breach of contract. Defense of property owners, contractors and builders in cases involving accidents on construction sites. Defense of developers against homeowner claims of fraud and negligent misrepresentation as well as personal injury actions resulting from construction defects. Prosecution and defense of claims related to Homeowners Associations and claims involving Civil Code section 910, et. al (SB800) and Civil Code section 1375 (Calderon).
	Transportation Representation of transportation companies in personal injury actions involving tractor-trailers.
	Tort Defense Defense of businesses and individuals in a wide variety of claims involving negligent and intentional acts, including automobile accidents, assault and battery, and slip and falls.
	Toxic Tort Defense of property owners, property management companies, builders, and contractors in all aspects of personal injury litigation involving claims of mold growth from water intrusion. Defense of businesses against negligence and public nuisance claims.

Amy currently practices in a variety of areas including construction law, tort defense, and general liability. Prior to joining Wood Smith Henning & Berman, Amy prosecuted the claims of property owners and management companies arising out of tenant lease violations. While in law school, Amy was selected to participate in the Poehl's (Hobb's) Trial Advocacy Program and was a member of the Dean's List. She also externed for the Los Angeles County Superior Court, the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office - Consumer Protection Unit, and the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office. Additionally, Amy worked at the Cancer Legal Resource Center, which provides information and educational outreach on cancer-related legal issues to people with cancer and their families who are impacted by this disease. Before attending law school, Amy worked in the Legal Compliance and Ethics Department of a Fortune 500 company.
