Demetra specializes in the areas of environmental law and general liability. While attending law school, Demetra received Witkin Academic Excellence Awards in Environmental Law and Interviewing, Counseling and Planning, earned Dean's list honors for two semesters, and graduated with honors. Demetra was a member of the Pepperdine Dispute Resolution Law Journal and earned a certificate in dispute resolution at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. Demetra was also a member of the Moot Court Board, Advocates for Public Interest Law auction committee, and worked as a volunteer at the Union Rescue Mission Legal Aid Clinic.
In addition to her other honors, Demetra's article, "New Amendments to Resolving Special Education Disputes: Any Good IDEAs"; was chosen for publication in the Pepperdine Dispute Resolution Journal.
During law school, Demetra participated in the London International Law Program at Pepperdine School of Law, where she studied international law and clerked at the London office of Withers, LLP. |
