Sewar Kawwa is an associate at WSHB’s Riverside office, where she handles a variety of practice areas including catastrophic injury, construction, employment and premises liability.
Sewar graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School. While attending law school, Sewar was a Managing Editor for the Wisconsin Law Review. She also received the highest grade in Civil Procedure II, and was a Sampson Fellowship Recipient. Sewar was on the Moot Court team, both as a competitor and later as a coach. She competed in the Ruby R. Vale Corporate Law Moot Court Competition at Widener University in Delaware and won Best Oralist of the Year in 2016. During law school, Sewar had the opportunity to serve as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge John Markson at the Dane County Circuit Court in Madison. Prior to law school, Sewar graduated magna cum laude from the University of Redlands with a double major in Government and Spanish and a minor in Public Policy.
