Patrick is an associate in WSHB’s New York office, where his practice focuses primarily on construction litigation and complex general liability and casualty actions. Prior to joining the firm, Patrick’s practice focused on premises liability matters and the representation of numerous insurance carriers, self-insured businesses, and large property holdings corporations. Prior to his civil experience, Patrick also worked at the Suffolk County Legal Aid Society in New York. As a public defender, he represented more than 600 people accused of crimes, including both felonies and misdemeanor.

Patrick is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law, where he was a member of the Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute’s External Competition team. Patrick excelled in the St. John’s Trial Advocacy Program, where he earned the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence in Pre-trial advocacy. Patrick also worked with Judge John H. Ingram, sitting judge for the Court of Claims and Kings County Supreme Court, hearing and drafting judicial opinions. He received his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Marist College, graduating cum laude.
