Mia Nguyen is a litigation attorney in the Phoenix office of Wood Smith Henning & Berman, where her practice focuses on commercial and business litigation, construction, and complex civil litigation. While attending law school at the University of Texas, Mia was a student attorney with the Texas RioGrande Legal Aid Clinic where she served indigent clients in housing-related proceedings. Mia also interned for the Texas Office of the Attorney General, Judge Hudspeth of the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, and Judge Alcala of the Texas First District Court of Appeals. During law school, Mia clerked for a firm where she handled a variety of aviation and civil litigation matters.
Before joining the firm, Mia clerked for the Honorable Andrew Gould of the Arizona Court of Appeals. Prior to law school, Mia was a third grade teacher in south Phoenix with Teach for America. In her free time, Mia serves as the president of her neighborhood association and practices Krav Maga self defense. Mia is licensed to practice in Arizona and Texas.
