Matthew Houghton is an associate in WSHB’s Northern California office, where he handles complex civil litigation, specializing in construction litigation, business law, employment, estate planning, and bankruptcy. He represents a variety of clients, from individuals to small businesses to larger residential and commercial developers.
A Bay Area native, Matthew received his law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law. While attending USF, Matthew also earned a business law certificate, with honors; served as the treasurer for the Sports and Entertainment Law Association; and worked as an editor for USF Law Review. For his undergraduate degree, Matthew graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science.
