Kristin Lee is an associate in WSHB’s New York office, handling complex civil litigation involving professional liability matters, catastrophic injury and medical negligence. Her experience includes countless matters handled in connection with healthcare-related claims against medical providers, and coverage work involving detailed analysis and recommendations of various underwriters’ coverage obligations.
Kristin is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law, where she served as a senior staff member of the St. John’s Journal of International and Comparative Law and president of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. She was also an active member of the Moot Court Honor Society. As a student, she competed and advanced in several regional and national appellate advocacy competitions, including winning first place and Second Best Oralist in the Northeast Regional round of the 20th Annual Thomas Tang Moot Court Competition and winning second place and Best Brief at the competition’s national level. As an alumni coach in 2016 and 2017, she coached two teams to the national round of the Thomas Tang Competition. In addition, during law school, she served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Vera Scanlon of the Eastern District of New York, an intern in the Litigation Bureau of the New York State Office of the Attorney General, and a student-attorney in the Child Advocacy Clinic.
She received her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, in Philosophy, Politics and Law from State University of New York at Binghamton University, and is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
