Katherine Hart Sneed is an associate in WSHB’s Dallas office, where her practice focuses on employment, construction, and commercial and business litigation. Katherine received her law degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where she was awarded the Judge Elmo Hunter and the Fred Parks Memorial awards. While in law school, Katherine clerked at a mid-size Dallas-based litigation boutique and at a publicly traded tech company, where she developed the company’s data privacy regulatory compliance practices, in addition to assisting with ongoing employment, real estate, and commercial contract litigation.
Katherine studied alternative dispute resolution under a former state judge, gaining experience with multi-million dollar mediated settlement agreements in a broad range of cases, including commercial contract breaches, unfair competition, business dissolutions, and other complex commercial litigation cases. Katherine obtained her mediation license and began serving as a court-appointed mediator in 2017. She brings to each matter a wealth of experience in understanding what is required in order to establish meaningful settlement discussions based on her time resolving a wide range of litigated matters.
Prior to law school, Katherine worked as an investigator for the State of Texas, where she gained extensive experience in advanced forensic interviewing and custodial evidence integrity practices. She has served as an expert witness in dozens of civil and criminal cases.
