Bio

Jared Trachtenberg is an associate in WSHB’s New Jersey and Philadelphia offices, where he handles complex civil litigation, including employment, construction, and product liability matters. In addition, Jared has substantial experience handling complex medical malpractice defense cases. He also clerked for the Honorable Daniel H. Brown, JSC in the New Jersey Superior Court.

Jared is a graduate of Rutgers Law School, where he was the Associate Managing Editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion. He also participated in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot competition and was President of the Rutgers Jewish Law Society. Jared served on the executive board of the Louis D. Brandeis Law Society and was a Court-trained mediator in Camden County Superior Court, a role he continued during his clerkship in Middlesex County.

For his undergraduate degree, Jared attended Rutgers University, where he earned a degree in English Literature. While at Rutgers, he was an executive board member of the Rutgers Dance Marathon, The Daily Targum, and the Rutgers RHA.

Jared is currently an alumni advisor to his fraternity and continues to take an active role in supporting their philanthropic efforts with the Embrace Kids Foundation, a charity that benefits the non-medical needs of children with cancer and blood disorders.
