Bio

Fred has successfully defended a wide variety of litigation in state and federal courts.  His complex practice includes healthcare litigation, business disputes, and regulatory compliance on behalf of Fortune 500 companies and healthcare institutions.  He also has extensive experience representing public entities in business litigation and defending government claims. In addition, Fred is an experienced appellate attorney and has secured appellate victories for his clients in the Ninth Circuit and California’s Fourth District Court of Appeal.

Fred had previously spent two years as a federal judicial clerk in the chambers of Judge Peter C. Lewis in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. He maintains an active role in the Southern District of California as a committee member of the San Diego Federal Bar Association and as a member of the Louis M. Welsh American Inn of Court. He has also been a guest speaker on Federal Internships and Clerkships at California Western School of Law.

Fred is a San Diego native and received his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law, where he was consistently on the Dean’s List. His undergraduate degree is from Bucknell University in Pennsylvania, where he majored in Philosophy with an emphasis on logic and linguistics.
