Eric Morales is an experienced civil litigator and trial attorney in WSHB’s Miami office. Eric’s practice focuses on the defense of complex general liability matters, coverage disputes, construction defect claims, transportation and admiralty/maritime matters. Eric was born and raised in Miami and is a double alumnus of the University of Miami. He is an active member of the South Florida legal community and has been honored with selections as a Florida Super Lawyers “Rising Star” from 2015 – 2019.
Eric has extensive experience representing nationwide retailers, restaurant chains, trucking companies, and smaller local businesses in general liability matters. He also worked extensively representing general contractors and developers in construction defect disputes, and representing asbestos products manufacturers in injury and wrongful death products liability cases. Eric is also a seasoned litigator handling complex multi-party maritime injury claims. Those claims arose out of accidents that occurred all over the world on commercial vessels, and often times on private crafts in Florida waters. His maritime experience includes handling Jones Act, Unseaworthiness, Maintenance & Cure, and Seaman’s Wage Act claims through trial and appeal in Federal Courts. During his career Eric has represented parties in legal disputes all over the country, always advocating passionately and forcefully to obtain results for his clients.
