Darrin Simmons is a senior associate in WSHB’s New York office, where he focuses his practice on labor and employment practices liability claims, professional liability matters, and securities litigation. A graduate from Syracuse University College of Law, Darrin was Senior Notes Editor for the Syracuse Law Review, an active member of Moot Court, and a participant in the Philip C. Jessup Moot Court Competition. Darrin also served as a research assistant for Professor and Associate Dean, Aviva Abramovsky, and as a teacher’s assistant for first year legal research and writing courses. While at Syracuse University, Darrin also received his Masters in International Relations from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. He received his Bachelor of Arts in both English Literature and Spanish from Washburn University. Darrin is admitted to practice in the state of New York.

Prior to joining WSHB, Darrin worked for a nationally recognized law firm, where his practice focused on the handling of complex insurance coverage matters across various specialty lines, including EPL, D&O, E&O, and Wage and Hour practices liability. Darrin also served as a legal research and writing clerk to the judges of the Superior Court of Connecticut as well as served as a judicial extern for the Honorable William Q. Hayes, U.S. District Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
