Christopher Lyon is a senior associate in WSHB’s New York and New Jersey offices practicing civil litigation in the areas of excess litigation, professional liability, and employment. Prior to joining the firm, Chris was an associate at a New York law firm where his practice focused on medical malpractice defense. He has experience representing hospitals, institutions, and individual health care providers in all stages of pre-trial litigation, including case development, legal research, fact investigation, motion support, and suit evaluation.
Previously, Chris interned with the Honorable Xavier Rodriguez of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, the Honorable Bruce Scheckowitz at the Kings County Housing Court, and the Honorable Judd J. Carhart at the Massachusetts Court of Appeals.
While in law school, Chris served on the Executive Board of the Boston University International Law Journal as Senior Articles Editor and represented the school in the national Sutherland Cup Moot Court Competition. Chris also represented a number of clients in need of legal assistance through Boston University’s Civil Litigation Program.
