Andrea Golan is an associate attorney in WSHB’s Orange County office. Her practice focuses on commercial and business litigation, public entity defense, catastrophic injury, and medical malpractice.

Andrea received her law degree magna cum laude from Whittier Law School in 2015, where she served as Research Editor of the Whittier Law Review. While in law school, Andrea clerked at the California Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General, Civil Law section and in the Consumer Protection Unit of the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. She also provided litigation support for a geoforensic consulting firm specializing in complex toxic tort matters involving soil and groundwater contamination, construction defects, landslides, and seismic events.

Andrea began her legal career at a civil litigation firm in Newport Beach, where she handled construction contract disputes, unfair competition, professional liability, and a variety of business and commercial litigation matters.

Prior to law school, Andrea worked in customs and regulatory compliance, where she handled sourcing, manufacturing, laboratory testing, packaging, and labeling for housewares and consumable items. Andrea also worked as a Congressional Liaison Officer for the Federal Emergency Management Agency, where she served as a liaison to Members of Congress and their congressional staffers to ensure members and their staff are informed of FEMA policies and programs, in addition to assisting individuals and communities with disaster recovery.
